For the last 20 years, Brian has been working in the healthcare industry as an attorney, COO, and most recently as the founder and CEO of Advance Health, an in-home care company. A few years ago, his mom was diagnosed with cancer. During that time, Brian discovered that even with his experience, resources, and connections, he and his family still had a difficult time navigating his mother’s health care. When she passed away, he decided that there needed to be a better way to manage and care for chronic conditions. So, Brian sold Advance Health in 2019 and created Cix Health. "I started this company because I think we can make people’s lives easier."

Brian is an avid reader who reads three books at a time. He also enjoys whipping up Blue Apron meals for his family and spending time with his two yellow labs and chocolate lab puppy.
